An organization can be considered an entity that gathers or hires people for a particular purpose to complete tasks assigned. It can be a company, school, shop or government buildings and institutions. An employee is the person who works for this organization and receives payment for the work they have done. As human beings, civilians and many others have certain rights and benefits of having a particular title, so does an employee. As a worker or an employee of a specific organization, you have some fundamental rights or must reap some benefits from an organization. We will be talking about such benefits below.
The first thing which any person considers or thinks of when joining an organization is the payment amount and system. As an employee, they must have the right to get equal pay for their work irrespective of gender, caste, and colour. Whether they will be receiving a check stub or payment through digital platforms, equality is an important factor. And the benefit they must-have is that if the performance is exceptional, people must reward the people for the work they have done and received bonuses during the big religious or such holidays where every family has a big-spending session for specific reasons.
When an employee works in a factory, it comes with many risks, and they must have the benefit of working in a safe environment or at least the honour of working with safety equipment that can provide them with support in their work. Still, in many places, women are not paid equally to men. Getting paid is not a benefit; it is a right to get the same pay for their work as men.
Women who are pregnant must get a paid leave for the proper care and nourishment of the baby, which is being given to many female employees in different organizations. Still, in some low levelled places, it’s rare to see.
Employees must have the benefit of working specific hours and getting paid according to that. This benefit helps maintain the pay system and get the work done more quickly as there is a time limit, and the result is done faster and more efficiently. If they are working overtime, they must also reap the benefits of working extra. They should be paid well for all the hard work they do. All workers have the right to form a union for collective bargaining and the benefit that they are not being interfered with by the organization or employer in any way for that. Like some may take away the job because they joined the union. This act must not be allowed.
A worker and an employee are the ones who make the profit for any organization. They are the ones who do most of the job and provide us with all we need and require. They must deserve respect and what they rightfully deserve. Also, they must reap the benefits of an enormous profit made by any organization as they are the ones who made that possible.
